Spent the day playing Sit 'n Go tournaments

People ask me why I play if I don't like the dealing on line? I wondered the same thing for a while. Why do I get sucked back in only to get ticked off by improbable deal after improbable deal? Then I realized it's the action I love. I LOVE POKER! When I lived in Las Vegas the days were few and far between that I didn't go to my local poker room. I knew all the dealers and most of the regulars by name and they knew me. But, it only took me 10 min to get there. Now it takes over and hour so I don't go as often. But, man I love the action. I truly hope that one day someone will open an on line poker site that.....well is dealt like cards are dealt in a real poker room.

So today I spent the day playing in SNG tournaments. Which were tournaments consisting of 1 or 2 tables and saw 1 seat win over and over

And the good old pockets for everyone

And the good old pockets for everyone

Over and over and over and...

Maybe I should go back to the multi table on line tourneys?

All in and the magic seat.

I played in a Sit 'n Go tournament tonight and one player announced I have to go I'm all in. We of course figured this was a cheap ploy, but he got a call from AK and Mr I have to go won with chit cards. OK. He says sorry and announces his cards to everyone each time and goes all in. He won 3 in a row taking out 3 players. It is now my big blind and he announces he has 3 8 and goes all in. Lucky me I have A 3 suited and call. As he said he has 3 8 offsuit. He would need 4567 to be dealt to get a straight. He would need 4 suited cards to be dealt to get a flush ( I would only need 3 diamonds). Realistically the ONLY way he will beat me is to get dealt an 8 (Since we both have 3s) and no Ace be dealt.

VOILA!

How can they be so dumb?

I started playing on new site (at least new to me). I just played in a Limit Hold 'em tourney and one seat continually won. Usually on the river. Everyone at the table had a few hundred to 800 in chips while he was well over 8K by the time I had to play my last chips on pocket 6s. I bet the whole way going all in. 4 players called the whole way and the board paired 4s and a K was dealt on the river. He made Ks & 4s on the river. The fact that on line tourneys ALWAYS go this way (one seat winning over and over no matter how bad their play) aggravates me. But, what annoys me even more is that other players at the same table seeing the same improbable deals happen again and again actually still believe that this is just a random deal. I just don't get it. Maybe it's just that I have literally spent 1000s of hours playing in casino games that I know the fact one player will win over and over and over in every tourney at every table every time is not just unlikely, but vastly improbable and they know nothing but these kind of deals. I don't know. But, more people need to take notice and start complaining. Or it will never change. I guess on line poker sites are making a fortune off this kind of stupidity or ignorance about random dealing and poker in general.
